The kids wanted to go skating outdoors, but we had a bit of a mild February this year, so I was not hopeful that there would be any usable outdoor rinks. We tried the rink in Bissell park, which was mostly slush, but had just enough ice left (on half of the ashphalt pad) that you could just barely "skate" on it. You can contrast this photo to one from two years ago, although to be fair that one was taken a few weeks earlier in the year.
