Aila was home from day camp this week, so I took some time off work to have some father daughter time. She has been wanting to visit the CN Tower for the last month (I think because she saw a video of her last visit to the tower), so this was a good opportunity for me to take her there. Luch had also never seen the CN Tower before, so he joined us on our adventure.

It was a beautiful day, which meant the views were great, but it also meant that the lines were very long. Aila was very patient, and with the help of some snacks and some Pokemon Go action we managed to survive the multi-hour wait to get up to the observation level.

Once we were off the elevator we immediately headed to the Horizons restaurant for lunch. We managed to get a great table by the window overlooking the harbour. We saw a lot of boats, trains, cars, and airplanes and helicopters of all sizes taking off and landing at the airport.

After lunch we visited the glass floor, and Aila had a lot of fun jumping up and down on it. We decided to go all out and visit the SkyPod as well, which is where I took this photo.

After our CN Tower visit, we took the subway up to the ROM to check out the dinosaurs. I told Aila she could go wherever she wanted in the museum, so she had a lot of fun exploring different areas. Our first ever "CN Tower Day" was a great success!

Technical Details: This photo was taken with my 5D Mark II + EF 17-40L at 17mm, ISO 400, f/8 for 1/400th of a second. This is actually a combination of two images. I had one image of Aila smiling but with someone standing right behind her, and another image of Aila standing alone at the railing. I think the combination worked out well.
