This weekend we went to Toronto so Angela could throw a wedding shower for Jen Trimmer. While Angela was hosting the shower, Aila and I went for a stroll around the block outside of Jen's condo. The main purpose of the walk (aside from letting the girls have a party without me hanging around) was to let Aila have a nap. She loves sleeping in the stroller.

Fortunately, Jen lives right across the street from the CN Tower, so there were plenty of things for me to look at while Aila slept. First, we went to a coffee shop called Spot Coffee to pick up a hot chocolate, and then we set off to do a full circuit around the Rogers Centre. We stopped by Roundhouse Park to look at the trains, including the miniature railway. While we were in Roundhouse Park, I stopped to take a picture of Aila and the CN Tower.

I didn't have my camera with me, so I took five photos with my cell phone and stitched them together into this vertical panorama. It turned out fairly well considering the fact that I have barely any control over my cell phone camera. Of course, I had to spend an hour in Photoshop making it look this good... but it was worth it I think.

Technical details: This photo is a combination of five photos taken with my LG Pop. I used Hugin to transform and align the photos, and then used Photoshop to manually adjust the exposures and blend the five different layers.

wow! This is great Mike. And from a cell phone. You should go back every year
and take 5 pictures of Aila from the same spot.

What a great picture! I don't think I have ever seen a vertical panorama
before.
