I found this little guy sitting by the waterfall when I was out preparing to close the pool for the season. I ran back inside to get my macro lens and decided to see how close I could get before he hopped away. He let me get extremely close!

I think this is the first time I've seen a Green Frog this large out by the pool. I have found larger American Toads in the past, and last year I was lucky enough to find a big Grey Tree Frog on the back deck.
