Kai and I found a Gray Tree Frog (Hyla versicolor) on our deck this weekend! It frightened me for a moment because when it was curled up sleeping it looked like a wasp nest. When I picked it up to show Kai I noticed the distinctive yellow colouring under its legs.
I moved it onto the red table and grabbed my macro lens to take this photo. It waited just long enough for me to get a couple of shots before hopping away.
Technical Details: This photo was taken with my 5D Mark II + EF 100mm Macro at 100mm, ISO 3200, f/11 for 1/125th of a second.
