This weekend was Angela's birthday! We started the weekend by going our separate ways on Saturday morning. Angela went to Jen's house to make strawberry jam, while I went out with Kris, Chad and Francis to play a round of golf.

On the fifth hole, we could hear a lot of frog noises coming from the water hazard, so I went to see if I could find any. I found this little green frog calmly sitting by the shore.

For Angela's birthday on Sunday, we went house shopping in the morning, then we went to see the Shuffle Demons play at the Waterloo Jazz Festival in the afternoon, and then Teresa, Sandy, Fran and Jason surprised Angela when we got home and we all went out for dinner and spent the evening playing games. Jason, Tanya and Chloe also paid us a surprise visit!

Comments

Supposedly female frogs have a tympanum that is about the same size as their
eyes. Judging by HUGE tympanum on this one, I'd say it's a male.
