I have been taking my camera to work with me each day in the hopes of finding a good picture to take on my commute (or at the office). Today was the first day I forgot to bring it, and what happens? An impromptu petting zoo happens right in our parking lot, of course!

Apparently, today was my coworker Melissa's birthday, and her friends ordered a mobile petting zoo for her, unbeknownst to just about everyone in the office. I was sitting at my desk when Carey came over and said there was a llama in the parking lot, so I went to the window and to my amazement this rag tag group of animals were calmly standing in the parking lot!

We all went outside and were able to feed and pet all the animals. They had a llama, two goats, a small cow, a mother sheep and a baby sheep that had just been born on Sunday. In another pen off the side of the photo they had two ponies as well.

It was a huge surprise for all of us, and especially Melissa, who was overjoyed at all the animals. It was also a nice and somewhat surreal break from work just before lunch time. Check out the video I took. I really wish I had remembered to bring my camera to work today!

Technical details: This photo was taken with my LG Pop.
