I celebrated my first Father's Day as a father on Sunday! Apologies to my father for getting caught up in my first Father's Day and totally neglecting to wish him a happy one. Happy belated Father's Day Poppa!

We celebrated Father's Day by going out to lunch at the Gorge Country Kitchen in Elora. Angela took this picture of Aila and myself enjoying each other's company at the restaurant. After lunch we spent some quality family time together hauling brush from the back yard to the front of the house, doing the last bit of cleanup after last week's storm.

Aila also bought me a surprise Father's Day gift: A "pro guitar" controller for Rock Band 3! I have a feeling I will be giving up even more sleep over the next few months to try to improve my video game guitar skills. :)
