The Stadia team in Munich sent a Christmas present to the Stadia team in Waterloo. It turned out to be a deceptively difficult map of Kitchener-Waterloo. When I heard how difficult it was, I scoffed at first. I thought: "I've seen puzzles where every piece is the same colour! How hard can this be?" However, somehow this puzzle seemed even worse.

A dedicated group of team members worked over the holidays to try to get this puzzle done. After staring at pieces with so many little roads on them, you really started to lose sense of exactly what you were looking at. The picture on the box was very little help - for some reason the resolution they printed it at was so bad that you couldn't make out any of the important little details.

This is a photo I took of the puzzle as we were finally nearing completion. My major contribution to the puzzle was to find all the pieces with railroad track on them (there was an extremely subtle difference between road lines and railroad lines that apparently only I could see) and place them in the puzzle.

Technical Details: This photo was taken with my Pixel 6.
