One of the many stops on our trip this summer was Agawa Bay. At every place we stopped, without exception, the kids enjoyed swimming in whatever lake or river we were stopped at. It didn't matter how cold it was, how rocky, how weedy, or how many crayfish there were lurking in the sand.

We learned how to catch crayfish in a bucket, and the kids enjoyed making a little habitat for them and giving them names until we put them back in the water.
