A few days after I took my first photo of comet NEOWISE, the timing and conditions were just right to see it in the evening sky. So, I convinced Aila and Kai to stay up late one night and come out with me to see if we could catch it. After being very patient for about 45 minutes while we stood in a field getting eaten by mosquitos, the sky finally darkened enough for us to see it before it set. It was pretty dim, but we still managed to see it with our naked eyes.

I managed to take this long exposure photo, which really brought out the beautiful tail of the comet.

Technical Details: This photo was taken with my Canon 5D Mark II + EF 70-300IS at 70mm, ISO 800, f/4 for 3.2 seconds.
