Elora is a very artistic town, and every year around Halloween the village is taken over by strange and scary creatures. This year I decided to take Aila and Kai out to see them. We met up with my friends Dan and Michelle and their daughter Violet, who is almost the same age as Aila.

Usually there is something called the Twilight Zoo, which in the past has been held at the Elora Center for the Arts and featured a lot of monsters in one place. This year it didn't seem to happen the same way as previous years, and the monsters were just spread out all over town. They did have a monster parade this year, but we missed it by one day.

At any rate, the monsters we did see were pretty cool. This one was particularly scary, hanging right outside the Sweet Distractions candy store, which is a great place to get Gelato, even on a cold fall day with monsters everywhere.
