Baby pics coming soon, I promise. In the meantime, there was a major announcement at work today. Since I was home with the new baby, I wasn't able to gather with the rest of my coworkers to observe the announcement, but luckily I was able to stream the announcement live to my TV so that I could still join in! (The Ubuntu media server I built out of old computer equipment comes in quite handy sometimes.)

The major announcement is that I now work for Imagine Communications. Harris Broadcast has split into two companies, "Imagine Communications" and "GatesAir". The TV and radio transmitter business has become GatesAir, and the rest (Waterloo office included) has become Imagine Communications.

So, I've now worked for Inscriber, Leitch, Harris, Harris Broadcast, and Imagine Communications... all from the same office!
