Aila has a new cousin! Samantha was just born to Aunt Christine and Uncle Aaron. Angela went to Brampton to babysit Jeremy while Christine and Aaron were at the hospital. I haven't seen her yet, but she looks beautiful from the picture on the left that Angela emailed me today.

While Angela was away, Aila and I did what we usually do in these situations... we goofed around a lot. On the right, Aila put Mrs. Potato Head's pink glasses on Baby Nikki, only to discover that Baby Nikki bears a striking resemblance to Aila when she is wearing her pink sunglasses. In this photo you can also see what Aila has to put up with every once in a while: A snap-happy father with a rather large and unwieldy camera.

I really look forward to meeting the new addition to the family, and I'm sure Aila will love having a little cousin to play with once she is a little older. Congratulations to Christine and Aaron, and to little Jeremy who is now a big brother!
