Now that Aila is a bit older and it is not so bitterly cold outside, I have had the opportunity to take her down to the river a couple of times to watch the birds. On our last outing, we walked up river a bit, in a direction I had never been before. We found this neat little dell that looked really neat as the sun was going down behind the trees.

A week or so later, Aiti came down from Carleton Place for a visit. It was a nice day so we walked down to the river again so that I could show Angela and Aiti the dell that I found. This time I brought my camera so I could take a photo!

Technical details: This photo was taken with my 5D Mark II + Tamron 28-75 at 28mm, ISO 200, f/8 for 1/40th of a second.
