Kai has been taking programming lessons on the weekend at Code Ninjas in Guelph. (And as of the time of this writing, March 2024, Finna has started as well!)

The kids start off writing games in Scratch, which is a block-based coding language. Then they move on to Javascript and eventually C#, which is the language used in professional game engines like Unity.

So far Kai is liking it, and has reached Yellow Belt, the first level above beginner.

On the front desk at the dojo, they have this sign, which I find simultaneously amusing and depressing.
