A slightly amusing thing happened one day at work. At the end of the day I walked over to the parking lot only to find that it had been cut neatly in half by construction fencing, with my car being the only one "trapped" on the inside. For a brief moment I wondered how I was going to get out, before noticing that the construction people had left an opening for me. By the next day, it was closed off completely.

I guess the Region of Waterloo is building a fancy new transit hub. I also guess this means I'm going to lose my prime parking spot eventually. Google is building a new parking garage, so I assume when that is finished I will be forced to park in there. Unfortunately, I think it will be further away than my current spot. Maybe not, if they can build a pedestrian path. We shall see.

Technical Details: This photo was taken with my Pixel 4.
