We bought a new side door! When we bought our new front door, we also had a new door installed between the laundry room and the garage. The old door was an interior door that let a lot of heat/cold transfer through it. After that job was done, we instantly regretted the fact that we hadn't changed the side door at the same time.

The side door was incredibly drafty, and had a large hole in it from some previous owner. Also, we recently installed a clothes line out on the side deck, so that we can hang our laundry or swim clothes up in the summer. Getting through the old door was a pain, because the door opened inwards, and there was also a screen door to get through.

Our new door solves all of these problems. It is properly insulated, and it opens outwards so that no matter how many kids' shoes are piled in front of it, we can still get outside easily with a load of laundry. And, of course, the view is so great that it really opens up the small room!
