We have been thinking about some way to cover our patio a bit so that we can enjoy it in more weather. Then, Angela and I went out on a lunch date one rainy day this summer and the restaurant had these really nice big patio umbrellas over their tables. We decided that it would be a relatively inexpensive way of getting more coverage over our patio table, so we bought one. Getting an appropriately-sized base (not pictured here) proved to be a little difficult, but eventually we found one.

Now we don't have to worry about a bit of rain when we are having dinner!
