May is the perfect month to start hypermiling, since I don't have to run the heater or the air conditioner in the car. This is the best run I've been able to do so far this year: 8.6 kWh/100km on my way to drop Finna off at daycare. For perspective, if I could maintain this efficiency for longer, a full charge would give me a range of almost 700km! With off-peak charging, that 700km would only cost me $5 in electricity!

For comparison, my best run in the Prius was 3.6 L/100km, which equates to a range of 1250km, and is $26 for 700km (using the average gas price from last year). Also, my best run in the Odyssey was 7.2 L/100km, which equates to a range of 1111km, and is $52 for 700km.

Obviously in real world scenarios it is really hard to maintain those kinds of hypermileage numbers for a long period of time, but it is still neat to get such low values over a distance of around 30km.
