For my birthday this year I had a quiet day around the house. Angela took the kids out in the morning so that I would have time to mow the lawn, repair a leaky faucet, and get caught up on other house related things. Then we had a nice dinner out on the back deck, and Angela invited Luch over for a surprise visit. She also made two cakes for me - one for my birthday, and one for Father's Day.

Since my birthday was on Father's Day this year, Angela took a photo of me with Kai. I rarely get to be featured in a Picture of the Week, since I'm usually behind the camera.

Oh, and in case you haven't seen it already, I posted a video of Aila's daycare recital that happened just a few days before my birthday.
