As I mentioned in last week's picture, we didn't get camping passes for Blue Skies this year. We decided to experiment and camp at Sharbot Lake Provincial Park, and go into Blue Skies on day passes. It worked out fairly well, especially because Aiti and Aunt Alix got the campsite directly across the road from us, so they could help look after Aila while we were setting up and taking down our tent (that Sandy and Teresa so graciously lent us).

This was my first time camping at Sharbot Lake. It was pretty busy because it was the long weekend. Every campsite was occupied. Our neighbours were also pretty loud, but at least they were quiet at night time because they had small kids. Our original plan was to explore the park on Monday morning before heading back to Elora, but we slept in and so we decided to just hit the road. Maybe in the future we will explore the park more.

Here is a photo taken at our campsite at Sharbot Lake.

Technical details: This photo was taken with my 5D Mark II + EF 17-40L at 40mm, ISO 400, f/4.0 for 1/250th of a second.
