Sorry I haven't updated in a while. On the 26th we headed up to Bancroft for Fran and Jason's wedding. The wedding was at Freedom Lake, which is a private lake with a large cottage on it just 20 minutes south of Bancroft. It was a very nice place, and luckily the weather was only slightly rainy for the weekend.

There was a professional photographer for the wedding, but since I knew that Fran and Jason wanted other photos as well, I let myself be trigger happy and took about 90 photos during the rehearsal on Friday and about 100 photos during the wedding on Saturday.

Unfortunately, due to a series of really stupid mistakes on my part, I wound up permanently deleting all of the photos from the first day. I managed to recover 4 of the 90 rehearsal photos, but I fear the rest are gone. I might try one last ditch effort to try to recover the rest, but I don't have high hopes. At least I still have all of the wedding photos, so that is good.

This is one of the photos I recovered from the rehearsal day. It shows the view from the deck of the cottage. The lake was like glass, and the fall colours were really pretty. The ceremony was held on the lawn by the lake, just behind the tree in the foreground, to the left of the huge fire pit.

Technical details: This photo was shot with my Rebel XT + 10-22mm at 10mm, ISO 100, f/11, for 1/60th of a second.
