This weekend Angela went to Quebec City with the girls for Fran's bachelorette party. I stayed in town, and on Sunday I went over to Kris and Jen's house to help them build a fence around their back yard. Ken was nice enough to give me a lift there since my car is stuck in the driveway due to construction on Margaret Ave.

The fence posts were put in earlier this week, and when Ken and I arrived, they had already quickly tacked up one section of fencing to get an idea of how it was going to look. So, I decided to take "before" and "after" panoramas of the back yard to document our afternoon's work.

In the "after" photo, the fence is mostly done, but there are still a few small gaps where some of the boards need to be cut in order to fit properly. The top lattice work also has to be done, and the small sections where the fence attaches to the house. Also, the panorama stitching software had a lot of trouble with these photos, so there may be a few places where the fence looks bent or boards don't quite line up. I assure you that the actual fence is perfectly straight!

Technical details: These panoramas each consist of 7 photos taken with my Rebel XT + EF-S 10-22mm at 10mm, ISO 100, f/8 at 1/500th of a second. They were stitched using Hugin.
