Another year, another Blue Skies! This year was the 35th Blue Skies, and the 30th Blue Skies that I attended!

Angela and I didn't get to go last year because we were on our cross Canada trip (and we didn't get selected for tickets), so I was looking forward to going back. We didn't get selected for tickets this year either, but Mum was nice enough to trade her camping passes for day passes (which she was nice enough to line up and purchase for us), so we were able to go this year.

It was a lot of fun, even though we had torrential downpours almost every day. I brought my new binoculars that Angela gave me for Christmas and had a lot of fun showing people Jupiter and its moons and the Andromeda Galaxy.

I found the music wasn't as interesting this year as it has been in the past, but one band that did stand out above the rest was Hoots and Hellmouth from Philadelphia. They gave a very energetic workshop and an even more energetic show on Sunday night. Their CD is pretty good, too!
