When I posted the last POTW of the bunny in the backyard, it reminded me of a photo that I meant to post last year. Well, there is no time like the present I guess.

This is a photo I took in May 2007 after a big rain storm. I don't know how this family of ducks found their way into the back yard, or how they found their way out, but while they were there I decided to take some photos of the unusual event.

Technical details: This photo was taken with my Rebel XT + EF 70-300mm at 300mm, ISO 800, f/8 for 1/200th of a second.

Is it just me or is your backyard beginning to sound like the hottest hangout
in town for these little animals? : ) The picture is very cute, I hope they
managed to stay away from traffic.
