I haven't been very photographically inspired recently, which is why I haven't updated in a while.

This winter has been fairly brutal as far as Waterloo is concerned. It just seems to be going from hot to cold, and from dry to wet with no rhyme or reason.

During a "warm but still cold" spell, a very large icicle formed at the back of the house. I had to open a window in the solarium, hang outside and knock it down with a shovel. It was so big that it survived the plunge to the ground mostly intact. I went outside and stood it up in the garden as an ice sculpture.

It is still there... even after a full day of 8 degree weather!

Technical details: Shot with my Sony Ericsson K790a at ISO 80, f/2.8 for 1/800th of a second.
