My Christmas gift to Angela this year was a terrarium. Angela has always wanted pet frogs, so I figured now was a good time to adopt some. I knew that she wanted a White's Tree Frog, so I did some research and found the perfect one.

After Christmas, Angela and I bought some additional supplies for it, and we set it up as you see it in this photo. This is what it looks like in "day mode", with a white light to simulate the sun, and heat lamps to keep it nice and warm. We also put in a waterfall, a fogger to keep the humidity nice and high, and a few fake plants and vines for the frogs to climb on and hide under.

Once the terrarium was all set up, we went out and found two baby White's Tree Frogs to adopt. Angela named them Freddie and Eddie. Unfortunately, Eddie is sick, so we are trying to nurse him back to health. He is in quarantine right now so that he doesn't get Freddie sick, so you probably won't see any pictures of him until he is better.

I think you will probably see a few pictures of Freddie in the coming weeks though. ;)

Technical details: This photo was taken with my Rebel XT + kit lens at 21mm, ISO 100, f/8, for 2 seconds.

Well that's certainly a beautiful photo of it, although, slightly evil looking.
 But that's a good thing! :D
