On Friday last week we journeyed to Barrie to see Bravado! perform their Christmas concert. It was really fantastic! The singing was great, and Scott did a great job conducting the group.

The next day we went out again... this time to Aurora for Tanya and Jason's housewarming/baby announcement/drop-in + games night thing! We played some memorable games, including a Kobayashi Maru version of "Clue" that caused much confusion.

I decided to take a photo while I was there. Jason and Tanya had two bookcases that they had bought from IKEA, and they had modified them by purchasing little light strips (also from IKEA), drilling small holes in the top and back of the bookshelf, and taping the lights to the inside of the shelf, out of sight.

The end result looked really nice. I especially liked the reflection of the ligh in this vase.

Technical details: This photo was taken with my Rebel XT + 50mm 1.8 Mark II at ISO 1600, f/1.8, for 1/40th of a second.
