This year's Thanksgiving weekend was a busy time for us. First, Angela and I travelled back in time 100 years to see what Waterloo was like in 1907. Amazingly enough, the Calvin and Hobbes cartoon was correct, and everything WAS black and white back then. I took this photo as proof.

On Sunday, we drove up to Base Borden for Aunt Rena's suprise 50th birthday party and Thanksgiving dinner at Uncle Jeff's house. It was very tasty, especially after some afternoon games of mountain bocce ball.

On Monday, we journeyed to Edgar to help Aunt Rena figure out where to build a fence around her yard, and then we travelled to Orangeville to have Thanksgiving dinner at Angela's mom's house. It was also a very tasty dinner!

Technical details: This photo was taken with my Rebel XT + kit lens at 25mm, ISO 100, f/8, for 1/60th of a second.

Nice picture! All you have to do is edit out that modern car and it would be
really hard to tell what year it was taken ;)

Heheh, yes... that car drove by just at the wrong moment. Also, the Perimeter
Institute for Theoretical Physics appeared in the background at just the wrong
moment as well. :(

Well, the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics almost looks like a weird
old warehouse...so, really it's just the car :P

OK, there you go... the car is gone. :)

A nice man offered to take our photo while we were there. So, for your
amusement, here is the photo he took:

Haha! That's great!

Now you have real proof that the past was black and white!

Ha ha ha! You guys are awesome! You should use that as your Christmas card
photo.	;)
