Saturday was "Open Doors" day in the Waterloo Region, which meant that a number of heritage buildings and other places were open to the public. One such place was the Wings Of Paradise butterfly conservatory.

Normally the admission fee is about nine dollars, but on this day it was free, so we went to check it out. Not surprisingly, they had a lot of butterflies there, and a lot of photographers trying to take pictures of them. This was one of the butterflies.

Technical details: This was shot with my Rebel XT + kit lens at 55mm, ISO 800, f/5.6 for 1/250th of a second.
