I'm still trying to get caught up with my pictures since coming back from vacation. For Labour Day weekend this year, Angela and I decided to finish painting the house and finally complete the project we started back in May. Soon we will be able to post before and after pictures, but we aren't quite ready yet.

In the meantime, I wanted to share this photo of the location where Aravind and Kim decided to have their wedding. The Buddhist and Hindu ceremonies were held indoors, but the "garden" ceremony was held out on the hillside. The valley provided quite an amazing backdrop for the festivities and the reception.

Aravind tells me that landscape is often referred to as the "golden hills", and that everything is actually green in the wintertime, but stays golden brown all summer due to lack of rain.

Technical details: This was shot with my Rebel XT + kit lens at 18mm, ISO 200, f/8 for 1/800th of a second.
