On Friday, Angela's best friends Jason and Tanya were married in Collingwood. It was actually the first wedding I had been to just as a guest, although I did spend Thursday afternoon and Friday morning helping them set everything up. Also, I was asked to take as many pictures as possible, so during those two days I shot over 400 photos.

The day after the wedding, Angela and I had a few hours to kill in Collingwood, so we headed up to the top of Blue Mountain to check out the Scenic Caves.

This week's picture was taken from the new suspension bridge that they built near the top of the mountain. The bridge is about 300 meters above Georgian Bay, which is about the same height as the CN Tower. The lighthouse in the photo is a famous Collingwood landmark on Nottawasaga Island in Georgian Bay.

After checking out the suspension bridge, we hiked through the caves. They were interesting and fun, but not really what I pictured when I thought of caves.

Oh, by the way: There will be a slight delay next week, since I will be out of town. When I get back I will post two new Picture Of The Week photos for both weeks... probably one of San Jose or San Francisco, and one of St. John's. See you then!

Technical details: This was shot with my Rebel XT + 70-300 IS at 300mm, ISO 200, f/8 for 1/800th of a second.
