It was Blue Skies weekend again this week. As always, there was a good lineup of great folk musicians from across the country, and after some initial difficulties finding a spot for our tent, we settled in and had a blast all weekend.

I think the highlights of the festival this year were a great performance by Rick Fines (although there was a one minute power failure during a song called "Riley Wants His Life Back", and the audience started singing "Riley Wants His Light Back" to fill the gap), a special version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" in celebration of Blue Skies purchasing the festival site from Oskar Graf, and a wacky band from Manitoba called the D Rangers.

This photo was taken at the beginning of the concert on Saturday, as the sun was setting. We had great weather all weekend, although it was quite hot and sunny during the day.

But now it is back to work, at least temporarily...

Technical details: This was shot with my Rebel XT + Peleng 8mm fisheye at ISO 200, f/8 (or was it f/16?) for 1/320th of a second.
