Those of you who are bored enough to check my website regularly may have noticed that I finished the AstroTracker Mark 1! At the bottom of my AstroTracker page you can see the first real picture I took with it.

This week I thought I would post an alternative version of that picture. This is the same photograph, except it isn't cropped and I adjusted the levels so that the Andromeda galaxy was more visible. During the process all of the dimmer stars became brighter, which is why it looks like there are many more stars in this version.

For those interested in technical info, I shot it with my Rebel XT with Canon EF 50mm/1.8 Mark II lens at ISO 200, f/3.5 for 201 seconds.
