Sorry this one took so long. Angela and I have been on vacation this week. We didn't really go anywhere, but we have been busy making a lot of day trips to various places. One such day trip was to the Toronto Zoo. I used this opportunity to test out a new lens I bought for my camera: The well known Canon EF 50mm 1.8 (Mark II). It isn't exactly a "walk around" lens, but with the 1.6 crop factor of the Rebel XT it makes a good portrait lens, and a great lens for walking around a zoo, where you don't really get to go close enough to the animals to make use of a wide angle lens.

Anyway, this was the last picture I took that day, as we were leaving the zoo, a white rhino from the Indo-Malayan area turned to us to say goodbye.
