This weekend my good friend from high school Kenji had an open house at his art studio. I decided to head down to Ottawa to check it out and see what he has been up to. I was quite impressed. He has done some really amazing stuff. I don't usually like taking pictures with a flash, but I didn't have my tripod with me, so I didn't have much of a choice. This is a shot looking down the hallway on the second floor of the studio building. The right wall is filled with all of Kenji's "light boxes", all done in the style that he calls "shapism". Kenji's latest art was on display just down the stairs from here on the main floor.
