One event that has been consistent throughout my life has been the Blue Skies Music Festival. It takes place every year on the August long weekend. I didn't take any pictures this year, so I decided to go through my archives and see what I could find. This is a photo I took in 2000. It is a 30 second exposure on ISO 400 film from the top of the hill looking out across the field to the stage, with the moon above it. This year we had an exceptionally rare event at Blue Skies: A blue moon. It poked out from between clouds in between thunderstorms on Saturday night. :)
