Thanks to the "staggered entry" into Junior Kindergarten this year, I had Finna to myself for a couple of days in early September. On one of the days, we went to the Wings of Paradise Butterfly Conservatory in Cambridge. It was relatively quiet there, so we had a nice time wandering around and looking at all of the butterflies. They also had some birds, and a tortoise.

A butterfly even landed on Finna's head, possibly mistaking her hairband for a real flower. I forgot to bring my camera with me, so I tried to use "portrait mode" on my phone to take a picture of a butterfly. I think it turned out fairly well!
