I forget the exact reason why, but one day this summer I needed to get Kai out of the house, so we took a trip down to Waterloo Park. They had a farm there, where I have photographed bunnies and chickens in the past. On this visit, Kai was fascinated by the peacock, with its spectacular tail feathers.

I didn't get a photo of it with its tail feathers up, because there were too many kids crowded around, but after the crowd had dispersed, I captured this photo with my phone.
