Ever since we bought this house way back in 2010, I have wanted to get a new front door. The old front door was just a huge blank monolith, painted red for some reason. Well, this year we finally decided to go for it!

It has already made a huge difference. Now I can see outside when I walk down the hallway! Now I can see who is at the door when the doorbell rings! Now the kids can come in the front door when they get home from school, because the lock actually works properly!

One of the first delights offered by the new front door was this view of a groundhog on our front lawn. I would have never even known it was there with the old door!
