We have been fostering rabbits for a couple of years now. This May, we acquired two new foster bunnies -- baby Flemish Giant rabbits. We got them when they were just a couple of weeks old, so they were very tiny! Since we had them from such a young age, and they seemed really friendly, we decided to adopt them permanently!

The two of them looked so similar that it was difficult to tell them apart at first. Eventually we learned to distinguish them through subtle markings on their fur, but we also didn't know which one was the male and which was the female. We called the one on the left "Charlie" and the one on the right "Ginger".

It turns out that we swapped the genders, but we decided to keep the names as they were. Unfortunately, Ginger passed away due to complications after his operation to be neutered. Now, we just have Charlie, who will hopefully do fine after her operation to be spayed.

Technical Details: This picture was taken with my Pixel 4.
