For our second week of vacation this summer, we travelled to Aiti's cottage in Ompah. It was nice to get the kids away from computers for a while, where they could experience some nature without being able to dash back inside the moment they were slightly uncomfortable. On our first day there, we walked down to the boat launch at the end of the road, and Aila wasted no time wading right into the lake. I got this photo of her spotting a loon on the lake.

Shortly after this, the loon dove underwater, and so did Aila. Next time I'll remember that whenever we are going near water with Aila, I should make sure she has a bathing suit.
