While I was out trying to get photos of Jupiter and Saturn, I also tried to get a Milky Way shot with my phone. I propped it up against the leg of my telescope tripod and took this photo in "night mode". This is the photo it took, straight out of the phone with no extra processing (except for resizing).

It didn't turn out too badly considering the glow from the town on the horizon! The big bright "star" in the photo is Jupiter, and the bright "star" to the left of it is Saturn. The bright star near the top (kind of in between two other bright stars, forming a straightish line) is Altair, which I have photographed before with a film camera.

Technical Details: This photo was taken with my Pixel 4 in "Night Sight" mode.
