For fun this summer I bought an inexpensive underwater camera. It turned out to be about the same price as buying an underwater housing for one of our existing cameras, and the video quality is much better.

I have been having a lot of fun filming the kids jumping into the water, and filming Aila diving down to the bottom of the deep end. Some of the video footage will definitely make it into my yearly videos for the kids.

In the meantime, here is a photo of Aila posing underwater in her mermaid swimsuit (minus the mermaid fin, because it is awkward to swim in).
