Towards the end of summer we went up to Rice Lake to visit Great Grandpa. While we were there, we visited the Indian River Reptile Zoo. The weather was extremely hot, but the kids still had fun seeing the animals, sliding down the huge crocodile slide, digging for dinosaur bones, and petting a big snake.

The zoo has hundreds of different crocodiles and alligators. I believe this is a dwarf crocodile... I'm not completely certain of my crocodile identification skills.

We had fun spending the night at Great Grandpa's house, and Aila got to take home a doll house that he built. It is very fancy, with working lights and a full set of furniture!
