We had a good time at cousin Fiona's birthday party at the end of January. Aila had a lot of fun playing with a baby doll and finding the lego set which was hiding under the table. Hopefully Zoe wasn't too upset that Aila wreaked havoc on her carefully constructed lego animal hospital.

This month was "literacy month" at daycare, and they held a contest for who could read the most books. Aila read 138 books during the given time period (not counting books that she read more than once), so she won a prize! To cap off literacy month, we went to "literacy day" at Conestoga mall and saw Erick Traplin perform, and we also got a free book there for visiting all of the community booths.

Comments

Zoe was cool with it. She's very patient with little kids. Also, we saw the
Lego Movie yesterday, and now everything has been turned into robots and
spaceships. :)
