We are fully immersed in Winter now. Luckily, we have some Lego to keep us occupied when it is extremely cold outside!

Apparently this winter is not breaking any local records, but this is certainly more snow and colder temperatures than I ever remember having in the last 19 years that I have lived in Southern Ontario. It really reminds me of the way winters used to be back in Ottawa.

So far my snowblower is holding up, although I think a bolt fell off the other day, so I will have to investigate that before the next snowfall. I still have to wait for spring before I can survey the full extent of the damage from December's ice storm. I'm pretty sure that I have lost at least six or seven trees. The number could be as high as a dozen though. In the meantime, I guess we will enjoy our winter wonderland for the next two months!
