Aila got to meet Santa Claus for the first time at the Harris Broadcast Children's Christmas Party! This was our first year attending the kids' party (last year we felt that Aila was still too young to appreciate it), and since our event photographer (Ken) was sent to a customer site in New Jersey on short notice, I volunteered to be the party photographer. After I finished photographing all the other kids and families with Santa, Rod offered to take over photographer duties so that I could get into one of the pictures. He obviously has great timing because this turned out to be an excellent photo!

Aila was pretty happy to meet Santa, and she remarked later how it was nice that he read a story to all of the children. After the party, we went to the mall and I noted that Santa was at the mall too. Aila just said: "I don't need to see Santa again."

The party was held at Bingemans Funworx, and it was a pretty cool place for older kids. I wasn't too impressed with their "Toddler Zone", since it was virtually overrun by older kids to the point where we had to be full time traffic cops to keep Aila from being trampled. We are looking forward to the company Christmas dinner at Verses in a couple of weeks.
