This year we attended "volunteer appreciation day" at Doon Heritage Village again. Last year we had a great time there, and the year before that we went for their special "Starry Night" celebration.

This time we were just there long enough to meet up with Maika, Tanya, Maggie and Jo, sing a few carols in the church, and take a horse and buggy ride around the village. Then we stopped in at the museum for dinner and headed home again. Aila had a great time running after Maggie and Jo and exploring the museum's various Christmas decorations.
